Amusement at Wordpress
So, it turns out Wordpress doesn't behave in quite the way I expect. For one, protecting a post with a password does not automatically stop it being published in the RSS feed, nor can I currently find an option that allows me to make that the default behaviour.
As far as I'm aware, no one actually managed to guess the password (it was, of course, alligator7). If anyone did they...would have found nothing much of interest. Not even rapid response Ninjas.
There have since been other little problems with that password implementation. For example, removing it and rescheduling the post, er...didn't appear to work. Still not entirely clear on why for that.
Anyway: Go Wordpress! You're still better than blogger. And probably more stable than an implementation of a blog that I'd code myself to use instead.
Edit (just before heading out for lectures :O): I should put passwords on more posts. Computers / People trying to figure their way in have made that one of my more popular posts before it was published.
